Important Information

The Assistant uses automated technology to help you. While it's designed to be helpful and accurate, please verify important information independently. When you use the Assistant, some data about your players and club may be sent to third-party services for processing to provide responses.

What the Assistant Can Help With

The Assistant understands your MixItOne account and can help with a wide range of tasks:

Finding Information

  • Players: "Show me all players in the Advanced group" or "Who hasn't attended a session this month?"
  • Tournaments: "What competitions is John Smith entered in?" or "Show me the bracket for Men's Singles"
  • Sessions: "When was the last session?" or "How many players attended last week's session?"
  • Clubs: "What are my club settings?" or "Show me all active players"

Understanding Features

  • "How do I create a recurring session?"
  • "Explain how tournament brackets work"
  • "What's the difference between casual and member players?"
  • "How do I set up NFC registration?"

The Assistant can search the knowledge base to find detailed documentation and guide you to the right information.

  • "Take me to the tournament page"
  • "Show me the players list"
  • "Open the session scheduler"

The Assistant can navigate to different pages in the app to help you find what you're looking for.

Completing Tasks

For complex tasks, the Assistant can create a task list and work through steps with you. For example:

  • "Help me set up a new tournament"
  • "Find all inactive players and update their status"
  • "Show me players who haven't accepted the club constitution"

The Assistant can also help you fill out forms and interact with the app. For example, you can ask it to "fill out the player registration form with John Smith's details" or "click the save button on this page". This makes it easier to complete repetitive tasks or work through multi-step processes.

How It Works

The Assistant understands the context of what you're currently viewing in MixItOne. When you're on a tournament page, it knows about that tournament. When you're viewing players, it can help with player-related questions. This context-aware help makes it easier to get relevant assistance.

The Assistant can:

  • Query your data: Look up information from your clubs, players, tournaments, sessions, and more. The Assistant knows what data is available based on what page you're viewing
  • Create and update records: Add new players, update tournament information, modify session details, and more. The Assistant will guide you through the process
  • Search documentation: Find relevant help articles from the knowledge base to answer your questions
  • Navigate the app: Take you to different pages or open relevant features
  • Interact with forms: Fill out forms, click buttons, and interact with the interface to help complete tasks
  • Guide you through tasks: Break down complex tasks into steps and help you complete them with a task list

Example Questions

Here are some examples of questions you can ask:

  • "Explain this screen" - Get help understanding what you're currently viewing
  • "How do I add a new player?"
  • "Show me all tournaments scheduled for next month"
  • "What players are registered for the upcoming session?"
  • "Help me understand tournament formats"
  • "How do I archive a club?"
  • "What's the difference between a session and a tournament?"
  • "Add a new player named John Smith with email [email protected]"
  • "Update the tournament competition settings"
  • "Fill out this form with the player details"
  • "Show me all players who haven't attended a session in the last month"

Tips for Best Results

  1. Be specific: The more specific your question, the better the Assistant can help. Instead of "players", try "show me all players in the Intermediate group"

  2. Use natural language: You don't need special commands. Just ask questions as you would to a colleague

  3. Provide context: If you're asking about something specific, mention it. For example, "In the current tournament, show me all registered players"

  4. Follow up: The Assistant remembers your conversation, so you can ask follow-up questions like "Tell me more about that" or "How do I do that?"

Limitations

The Assistant is designed to help with MixItOne-specific tasks and information. It:

  • Only provides information about your MixItOne account and features
  • Cannot access information outside of MixItOne
  • May not have information about very recent changes (within the last few minutes)
  • Should not be used for critical decisions without verification
  • The data it can access depends on what page you're viewing - some information is only available in context

For complex administrative tasks or sensitive operations, you may want to complete them manually to ensure accuracy. The Assistant works best when you're on the relevant page - for example, to help with tournament tasks, navigate to the tournament page first.

Privacy and Data

When you use the Assistant, some information about your account, players, and club data may be processed by third-party services to generate helpful responses. This data is used only to provide assistance and is not used for other purposes. For sensitive operations, consider completing them manually.

  • Check the knowledge base for detailed documentation
  • Use the Feedback & support tab in the Help panel to contact support
  • Review feature-specific guides for tournaments, sessions, players, and more

The Assistant is continuously improving, and your feedback helps make it better. If you have suggestions or notice issues, please let us know through the feedback option in the Help panel.
